Embark on an unforgettable journey to one of Canada’s most pristine stargazing destinations, where light pollution is four times lower than our urban cities (Bortle Scale 2).

• Convenient Transportation: Enjoy round-trip service from Downtown Ottawa, making your journey seamless and stress-free. Pickup details will be emailed 3 days prior to departure.

• Exclusive Stargazing Equipment: View the cosmos through advanced telescopes on site, including a 16" Fred Lossing Telescope, or bring your own gear. Experts on-site can assist with setup, if needed.

Itinerary

7:00 PM: Depart from Ottawa

9:00 PM: Arrive at North Frontenac Astronomy Park

9:00 PM - 9:30 PM: Equipment setup and preparation

9:30PM - 12:30 AM: Stargazing and night sky observation

12:30 AM: Wrap-up

12:45 AM: Depart for Ottawa

3:00 AM: Arrive back in Ottawa

Cancellation Policy

We’re committed to providing you with a magical night under the stars—and we also believe in being transparent about how we handle changes due to weather or scheduling.

Weather-Related Cancellations

Stargazing depends on clear skies, so we use the Clear Sky Chart for the Astronomy Park — a trusted forecast tool used by astronomers—to help guide our decision-making.

• We check the Clear Sky Chart 24 hours before the event.

• If the chart forecasts more than 35% cloud cover during the event time, the tour will be canceled.

If we cancel due to weather, you will:

• Receive a 50% refund, or

• Be offered the chance to reschedule at no extra cost.

We aim to give you as much notice as possible and avoid last-minute cancellations.

Participant Cancellations

We understand that plans can change! Our cancellation policy for guests is as follows:

• Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the event: 50% refund

• Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event: non-refundable
