What to Expect

From 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM, settle in for a peaceful and immersive stargazing experience. Enjoy a cozy bonfire, warm drinks, and access to a heated indoor chalet where you can take breaks from the below zero temperatures whenever needed.

The Geminids are expected to be extra spectacular this year. The moon will remain below the horizon for most of the night, not rising until around 2:20 AM. It will be in its waning phase at just 22% illumination, meaning it’s quite dim and since it stays out of sight during the peak hours, it won’t interfere with the darkness of the sky. This gives the meteors the perfect backdrop to appear brighter, clearer, and far more vivid.

Plus, with our location’s minimal light pollution, you’ll be viewing the shower under truly dark skies, ideal conditions for experiencing one of the year’s most impressive meteor displays.
